Another windy day with tired legs. Put off riding until the end of the day hoping the wind would die down but had little luck in that regard. Finally decided to just take a touring cruise through Watkins on a busy night. Started out with the intension of riding on the rail trail through the swamp to avoid the wind, but it didn't turn out to be necessary as he highway's cliffs seems to have tempered the wind. Toured by the lakeside park and down to Salt Point as well as an MSR on Franklin St. Walking tourists were abound and saw quite a few electric bikes although I didn't see very much pedaling on them. Traffic was of course heavy, but as I wasn't in a hurry didn't cause any problems. Short sweet ride.
