Took a couple days off as appeared to have exhausted my body on last weekend's metric. Numbers were bad with my resting heart rate skyrocketing and my body battery number bottoming out. Numbers still weren't that great this morning and it was raining for most of the day but still wanted to avoid the three days off in a row and lose anymore off my fitness level as still struggling to keep it rising. Had a window between showers and just did some laps on my hill interval course that keeps me within a mile of the house. Course has one ninety foot climb about a third of a mile long with a short bit of ten percent grade. Didn't try to hammer the hill at any point any just tried to climb aerobically. First couple of climbs were a bit unpleasant but after a few they seemed to get easier and lap times started to drop a little. Didn't rain at all though the roads were still wet but pretty much bagged it after nine laps. Didn't feel very strong - leaning more towards tired but it wasn't an unpleasant ride and enjoyed being out on the bike.
