Legs were a bit tender so opted for a fairly slow ride to Eldridge Park. Temperature was pleasant and wind was low and from the west that would mean it would be variable as I climbed and descended in the north-south valley. First mile was at a very relaxed pace but picked it up once I was on the highway. Tried a couple times to push the pedals but they were pushing back today and had to settle for a fourteen to the foot of the hollow. Climbed the short steps to Pine Valley at a decent rate and added enough speed to get the average up to fifteen by Horseheads. That was pretty much it for effort. Cruised through the village and the city until taking a short break in the park. Had some sort of event today that looked like mostly vendors and few customers. Not sure what they were vending, but it wasn't food, so I wasn't interested. Returned home at a leisurely pace. Regretted taking the formally fast bike and thought I should have gotten my old Masi out for the cruising pace. Legs were still tender after the ride.
