 Best Day Yet
Best weather day today with bright sunshine mid sixties temperatures and manageable winds. Started in in good shape heading north out of town but things started going south soon after missing a turn. Highlight of the ride was riding alongside three horses that were keeping pace with me near Post Oak. The problem was I hadn't planned on going to Post Oak today and had missed a turn earlier in the ride. Turned out to a good thing actually as my legs got weak around the twenty mile mark and felt like my body was entering a pre bonk mode. Rode about ten miles less than planned, but as I really was dragging the last six miles that turned out to be a good thing. Not a very nice ride overall but it was the first day I rode with short sleeves and only a single layer.
