Lost another week and change with a local Norovirus touring the area. Can't seem to catch a break health wise this year. Had a good short ride on the bike today. Headed up SR 14A to Reading and made an effort on the eight hundred foot plus climb that still turned out to be a poor climb. Headed downhill to Rock Stream and returned on SR 14. Thought I would be pushing a headwind back to Watkins but for some reason caught a tailwind. Thought I would try for the recently elusive fifteen average but failed again. Probably pushed my decrepit body a bit hard but it was enjoyable though I'll probably suffer tomorrow. Unless I have a miraculous recovery it looks like June events may be in peril. I was counting on piling on the milage in May but between sickness and rain it just isn't happening.
