Returned to the Capital Trail in Jamestown, VA for another day on the paved rails to trail. Just planned on a long day at an easy pace after two days of hard riding. Planned on doing a seventy-mile ride but ended up doing a little extra. Didn't see any fast riders to shadow on the course today. There weren't many riders on the trail at all despite being a nice day once the sun came out. I did get passed by one woman that flew by me. I followed her for a couple miles, but she didn't seem to pull away as she appeared to have spent herself going by me. Eventually she slowed way up, and I passed her at my steady pace. That was pretty much the excitement for the ride. The rest of the day was spent cranking out miles at a steady sixteen miles per hour. Decided to go to Dorey Park that is inside the beltway around Richmond and that was as close as I wanted to get to the interior of the Capital. Ended up cranking out eighty-five-miles. Legs were toast by the seventy-five-mile mark and the last ten miles wasn't much fun.
