Repeated last Monday's ride to again try to get the heartrate and watts up and hold for an hour. It was a bit warmer today and not raining so hoped for a better time. Tried standing a little longer at the onset but still not doing well out of the saddle. Rest of the climb up Cemetery Hill still wasn't pleasant. Was able to take a little time off Monday's pace but was slower than when I did the climb on Tuesday. On the plus side though, I didn't strain the back today. The rest of short ride went fairly fast. Once I got over the rise in the hollow my speed stayed well into the twenties. Had a good downhill on the dry road. Suffered on the steep climb but felt really strong on the downgrade through the valley. Gained a couple tenths on the average with less pain and more enjoyment over the last time on this course. Solid south wind at the finish helped quite a bit.
