A morning ride to chase misinformation, although I did make a stop to schedule an auto inspection.
I saw on the local news that the CTeC Tour started up yesterday(Monday). Of course, the tour didn't start yesterday; it came through town yesterday! But the local news had shown riders getting on their bikes in Buffalo. A caption could have stated that the date of the video was July 12th, because that was the Buffalo to Medina passage day. So then it turns out that yesterday was the CtEC passage from Medina to Fairport. The news report was inaccurate and incomplete. So, it turned out that I was a day early and a day late to view the throng of cyclists. The lesson here is NEVER DEPEND ON A SINGLE SOURCE FOR COMPLETE ACCURATE INFORMATION.
