Made my 1st outdoor ride of the year today.
Some goals for this year:
6200+ outdoor miles(10,000km)
125+ round trip work commutes (more if I get summer work)
350+ total days and 500+ total hours on bike in 2009 (outdoor and indoor)
A longer "consecutive days on bike" streak than last year (2008:191 days)
Buy another new bike soon (a Dahon "folder" for my 55th birthday)
I am grateful the old Globe keeps me rolling along in harsh weather. Definitely need to replace some drive components this year on all my bikes.
The Globe needs a new chain, cassette, and perhaps a new crank assembly too. I have 6800+ miles on those components, but for now I'll ride on...
