 Five Climbs
A little cool and a little windy today. Did a long loop with five climbs today. First off was the steep Havana Glen. Motored up it without too much trouble today. Did very little work into the wind to thebase of the Sullivinville climb out of the junction. Spun the highway climb and then lightly down hilled to Horseheads where the Latta Brook climb began. Used to do this at seventeen miles and hour on Tuesday night group rides but was satisfied with a twelve mile an hour spin today. Shortest climb of the five was the back side of Jerusalem Hill. Of the five climbs today this one was probably the shortest, and the one I dreaded the most. Last climb was the eastern slope of Harris Hill. Gained the most elevation on this one but it is just long and not very steep. Used to do a sixth climb on this loop but opted out of the Chambers climb and caught the tailwind home on SR 14 instead. Climbed comfortably though not very fast today. Turned out to be a pretty good ride.
