Numbers still marginal and saddle sores still requiring some small bandages but tried another fairly easy ride. Rode up the slot to Eldridge Park again. Had an average time for this year to the foot of Johnson Hollow a little over fourteen. Had tried for a fifteen but didn't seem to have much leg and slowed down after the first couple of miles. Slight headwind on the way up didn't help matters Didn't lose any speed over the two humps to Pine Valley. After that it was just a cruise day reaching the park at a lackluster fifteen. Returned via Lake Street and of course found that the wind had shifted and got to ride the back nine into the wind as well. Couldn't deliver much speed only able to maintain low twenties. Overall boring ride without much stimulation flat legs and mostly fog for atmosphere. On the plus side there wasn't any suffering or pain involved. Got some miles in but missed the sun.
