Had planned on heading to the northern part of the state today for a half century but as it was going to rain most of the day and there weren't any bands of interest at the State Fair I bagged it for a short ride up Johnson Hollow. Plan was to ride in the morning and stop at the fair to check out some bands on the way home, but they only had rap groups today and not any I had ever heard of. The sun did come out for a bit so was able to get a short ride in but really wasn't into it. Spun easily up the slot into a headwind then had a lackluster climb out of Millport. Only good thing about the day was
south wind brought back some warmer temperatures with the rain. Also wanted to relax a little on the bike as had a hard hill day yesterday and do have a metric century coming up on Labor Day near Erie, PA. Got some miles in and that was about it.
