Rolling terrain today without any real climbing. Course started out going through downtown Gaffney before heading north for a lap around Cowpens Battlefield. Legs felt great today and had a ride where there seemed to be more downhills than uphills. Felt good to be riding in eighty-degree weather. No climbs today more than two-hundred feet but there were a dozen or so small ones. Had one that topped out at eleven percent, but most were six or seven. Saw a couple cyclists in Cowpens and tried to chase down a tandem on the loop. Not much traffic that was good as there were not many shoulders on the roads. Fairly effortless and enjoyable ride. Did a little speed work when I caught a good tailwind on straight sections.
