 Cold Toes
The last week has been all cool weather and heavy rains with power outages frequenting the area for some unknown reason. We really had only one decent window to ride this week, and I unfortunately missed that. The rains stopped today and got out for a short ride on the mountain bike around Bad Indian Swamp. It was tolerable when out of the wind but brutal while in it. Pushed the north wind to the lake and got pretty cold crossing the bridge over the canal. Toes got cold going through the park at the head of the lake. Caught the tailwind back on Rock Cabin as the sky started to spit some snowflakes. Weekend looks cold and again but the weather guy promises two nice days next week. Did an easy but unpleasant ten miles and hope that is the last cold toes I'll get this season.
