Felt pretty good about yesterday's ride but legs were felling it today. Opted for a medium length recovery ride without any climbing. Headed up once again to Eldridge Park. Caught a north wind up the slot and got to the foot of Johnson Hollow at fourteen. Didn't lose much over the two humps to Pine Valley. Legs didn't have any snap, but weather was great and there was low traffic. Pulled into the park at sixteen but didn't stay long as the place was pretty much empty. Thought I might be able to do some work on the way back but couldn't make much headway against the very light head wind. Thought wrong that I would have some speed once on the down grade as was again plagued by saddle sores that have now developed into a rash or elsewise the riding is irritating the rash. Either way the last five miles was out of the saddle - pedal a bit and coast. Stood up most of the way home as sitting was most unpleasant. Not sure I got much recovery, but the ride started out pleasantly.
