Another few days off the bike seemed to have helped my health as the numbers were up finally and legs felt great on a short ride today. Spun up the valley to Millport into a mild headwind and kept the speed above fourteen but still wasn't able to get it up to fifteen despite the fresh legs. Headed up Burch Hill for the one climb of today. Fairly pleasant as climbs go with a sweeping curved grade to start and a then a short section of eleven percent. Stayed out of the granny but didn't force the pace. Had good speed along Middle Road to Horseheads and got the average climbing steadily. Run back down the slot wasn't anything spectacular but was able to maintain the mid twenties for the nine miles back from Pine Valley. Was able to get a seventeen by riding a steady pace which if I can keep up will put me on a new plateau. Short, sweet ride today.
