Today I drove to the tennis courts at Cleveland Park and met Ken and Don H to ride. We rode straight up the trail only deviating to circle the lake at Furman. I stopped twice and had to catch up both times - once because I had left my pannier open and once to see who was texting me. We rode to our turnaround point across from Sunrift Outfitters. We stopped at the Treehouse where I had a turkey bacon panini with fresh fruit slices and a cup of decaf. I also bought a double muffin to take home for Cis. When we left the Treehouse Ken wanted to take an alternative route home. I told him that I am tiring of the trail for every ride. We rode close to the trail coming out of TR then crossed over US 25 and passed the Mustang house. We then cut through the campus at Furman and headed for Timmons Arena to follow thier trail to the Vinings Apartments. We cut through the Vinings and the Walmart parking lot and onto Old Buncombe Road. We followed Old Buncombe to Old Cedar Lane Road and turned onto the new Orange Line Trail and followed it to White Duck Taco. From there we worked our way to Washington Street and followed Washington into town. Don turned off at Butler Road to go home while Ken and I followed Washington through downtown and back down to Cleveland Park.
