I drove over to the Swamp Rabbit Cafe for breakfast and a ride. I had biscuits and sausage gravy with a cup of dark roast coffee and a peach doughnut for breakfast, then headed out to get some miles on the trail. First I went south to Linky Stone Park then turned back north. I rode north back by the Cafe, through Furman, Travelers Rest, and to the north end of the Trail where I stopped for a drink of water. I turned back south and rode back to the Cafe before turning north again. I rode back to the pocket park at Sulphur Springs and stopped to finish off my water bottle and refill it at the fountain. While at the fountain Bill D stopped by to say "Hey!" I rode north back to Travelers Rest and stopped at Duke's Doggs for a lemonade and took a picture of Kristy and Katey. From there I rode south and ran into Ken and Mark riding north. I was back to the Cafe after a quick 37 1/2 miles and ready to take on the day.
