 Lake Conestee
Today I took off heading south on the trail toward Lake Conestee. I followed the Trail to its southern end at Pleasantburg and followed Parkins Mill down to where the Conestee section of the Trail picks up. Riding through Conestee is very slow and it isn't really made for road bikes. But I rode through it then took Conestee Road to the old Greenville Stadium and followed Ridge Road back to J L Mann. I took Parkins Lake Road and checked out the construction of a new home over there. They tore down a grand mansion and are building another grand mansion in its place. From there I rode to Cleveland park and called Cis to see if she wanted to swing by the Cafe for a bite, but she was busy. I didn't have my wallet, but I had enough cash in my little change purse to get a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with an iced tea. I rolled on home from there.
