On the way home of this afternoon commute, I came upon two rare sightings. One was two eagles standing in a field. One of the birds was clearly a mature Bald Eagle and the other Eagle must have been it's Fledgling! The sighting was first made by a Hilton Bus Driver, Tammy I believe.. Anyway, it looked like a flight lesson with classroom (ground work) and finally another launch and the birds were up soaring on a thermal.
The other sighting was a rare bird going by the moniker "Hndlebar". We stopped and had a catch-up chat about the past couple of seasons gone by. Hndlebar a.k.a Mike Dixon will also be attending this years FLBT (Finger Lakes Bike Tour). All in all a great afternoon ride!commuter miles YTD: 616+/- Total work commutes through this ride: 35 round trip work commutes YTD; x consecutive cycling days
