 a 222 mile week
This was a week to remember. Needing 200 miles in the 1st six days, the seventh was all "gravy". The warmest day this year was a good day to bike. My average speed for the week was slow(10.65mph) but the extensive blustery winds accounted for a substantial amount of the slow average.

Visited about 30 minutes with Larson, catching up on how things are. Fred seemed strong and healthy. Nearly 81 years old, Fred walks daily 4-5 miles on the towpath and rides bike occasionally. He is limiting most cycling to "stationary bike" -having done 12 "miles" on his bike today!

It's getting "nicer" and easier to get those daily miles out there! The winds this past week were a real challenge to reaching my mileage goal for April (barely made). A benefit from the increased effort is reaping a slight speed increase.
