 Ridge Road
Legs felt a little better today and the weather was a vast improvement over last weekend. Tried to stand up for a long early stretch of Jackson Hill and made it to the warning sign before falling back into the saddle. The strategy didn't work too well as legs were flat for the remainder of the first section to Catherine and came in closer to ten than eleven. The next section to Seymourville went better than usual and ended up cresting at a ten five. Didn't ride terribly hard on the downgrade but speed seemed to come easily and had visions of an eighteen average at the finish. Mild north wind was hardly noticeable coming back through Millport and kept speed in upper twenties. Failed to break eighteen but felt really good on the bike other than the first hill.
