I need the discipline of "work" to get fit. I had a fairly vigorous commute on bike today, averaging 12.5+mph on the round trip. ~another work benefit: Time away from the house is time away from the Fridge. 5 "C4" days

The Transportation Director (Fred) welcomed me back on the job first thing this morning. Immediately, with great embarrassment, I handed him an envelope with my request for time off in order to attend the GFLBT in June. He got a chuckle over the situation, and I am fairly confident I've got my day off approved...
Great day driving my students around. They seemed happy to see me. All was smiles, high-fives, laughs, hugs, banter, and chatter. I am so glad to be back!
