 First Spring Ride
The ride started off on the cool side caused mostly by the high humidity, but after an hour the sun made an appearance and dried out the air. Didn't plan on riding very hard today but put in a fairly strong first climb and hated to let it go to waste and kept up a moderate pace for most of the ride. There was a mild north wind but it really didn't affect me that much. Had a high cadence today which helped quite a bit. Not a whole lot of climbing and only one short steep section of the on today's selection. Will probably regret the effort as have a long ride around the lake scheduled tomorrow and will probably have to struggle to keep up. Did see five riders today although three of them were Amish. They did appear to be riding a paceline. Beautiful spring day and a fairly strong early ride for me.
