Fairly uneventful day on the bike. The ride started out with twenty-nine miles of headwind. The good news was that the wind was only blowing at half yesterday's rate. Rode SR 82 to Clarksville then headed north up SR 37. Did get off the highways for a little on the Bagwell loop. Had one dog sprint west of New Haven. One of the fastest dogs I've encountered kept pace with me with a tailwind and a downslope for at least a quarter mile. I couldn't put him away as I was in the small chainring and ran out of little cogs in the back. Fortunately he was a runner and not a biter. Day improved once I caught the tailwind out of Bagwell but the last fifteen miles was rather dull highway riding.
