 Easy Ride
Going to try another metric tomorrow in PA so going out for an easy ride even though taking an off day yesterday due to high winds. The north wind was blowing again but at least it is still in the seventies. Just another 'ditto' cruise up the hollow. Caught a tailwind up the valley as usual and put in a little more effort on the climb. Legs didn't have much snap but moved well. Had a fast downhill to Watkins and tried a Hail Mary attempt at getting a seventeen despite the earlier pace by pushing the big gears across the swamp. Hit both lights in Watkins on red and that put the kibosh on my plan. Nice ride but kind of boring after spending more time on the local hard climbs but have to protect the legs now so as not to embarrass myself at group rides.
