 Back in the Saddle
A fantastic morning; I braved the 25°F
early temperature and pedaled my way into Hilton for the morning PT at Westside. I arrived 8 minutes before the opening so I pedaled around Hovey Street a bit.

Later, after PT I stopped in at the Bus Garage to briefly discuss my upcoming testing with another John (Mr.Sweeney). After salutations, I moved on to Pettinari's Deli. Over there I spoke with Pam and Dominic. Pam told a story of how she injured her head and knee getting out of bed, blaming her husband Gene for startling her. She suggested I stop by to see Gene -just a couple miles further North of the store.

Needing the exercise and wanting to see how Gene was progressing with his new knees, -I headed to Brick School House Road. Gene has the same in-home therapist I had (Cindy "Make-a-Wish"). She is the best -he really likes her style too! After chatting with Gene I headed for home. A very good ride!

Earlier at Westside, John "Z" has been concentrating on my issues with posture, back-ache, and flexion pain. John is happy with my progress and feels the issues I have are typical for someone who has gone the course of my knee history. Flexion without assist was 110°. After a brief ultra-sonic treatment at the painful spot on the Right knee, John manipulated(flexed) the knee, as well as my pelvis and spine.

Right leg strength has surpassed it's best days since any time in the past 3-4 years. I am ready to be back on the job! Now awaiting confirmation and O.K. from Doc. Niles...

Second ride of the day at 5pm I took a short spin in the neighborhood.
Took an ATB spin on the Cruzbike 3/31/11 -making some gains in performance.
