Took the mountain bike out again today as the temperature in the mid-thirties and the skies were overcast. Repeated Monday's ride around town and a lap of the Bird Trail. With the exception of a couple of deer and a beaver there wasn't any sign that anyone had used the trail since I last passed through. When I went through town there were quite a few plows mounted on the front of pickup trucks. Boys must be hoping for some snow to pay for the plows. Big storm is forecast along the coast but doubt we will get any snow. Looks like we will get some cold weather as tomorrow's high is thirty-three accompanied by a blustery north wind. Unless I get out early there will be no riding outside tomorrow. Today wasn't bad though and would have ridden further but have a race paced training session later in day if anybody shows up. Ordered some rims to repair some of my old wheelsets, as it appears rim braked wheels are going to be hard to find as most everything new is disc brakes. Might get back outside if we have a January thaw.
