Rode hard yesterday and legs were feeling it today. Weather was excellent for riding again today. Planned on doing a medium slow ride and enjoying the sun and the smells of summer. Started up Havana Glen and instead of trying to spin a small gear kept the gear two or three up from what was comfortable and stayed out of the saddle. Wasn't too bad except for the fifteen percent sections but kept the cadence very low and stepped up the hill. After cresting the hill spent the next hour at a slow touring speed for fifteen miles until I got to the bottom of Swartout Hill. Put some effort into the two- mile climb but kept a comfortable pace. The remainder of the ride was downhills and a light tailwind. Kept good speed with little effort. Finally put it in the big chainring between Horseheads and Montour as legs seemed to feel much better than at the start of the ride. Another pleasant day on the bike in the sun despite the lack of speed.
