Comments: Last night I got a call from Bob D. suggesting we get out on a ride. The forecast was for warm temperatures and a Southerly breeze. When I woke up this morning at 4 am the temperature was frosty(32°), by ride time the temperature had warmed to 50°.
We headed North and East with a goal to drop in on Bob H. at Edgemere and Island Cottage Roads at the Lake. Bob H. is recovering from his 2nd TKR (he's tied with me now). Side note: between the three of us we've been through 6 joint replacements, -not to mention that Bob D. has a kidney donated by his wife!

Comments: At the beginning of my ride, there were only a few drops of rain. My plan was to ride my bike to the Turkey Farm on the ridge and take pictures of the Thanksgiving flock. If I had made it there, I would have said a prayer for their well-being, but unfortunately, the rain that was driven by the wind became too heavy. So, I made it a short ride on the Juiced RCS Fat-tired Bicycle and got completely soaked by the time I reached the garage. |
