Winds were blowing hard but had shifted and were coming from the north. Temperature was into the mid seventies for awhile today but were rapidly dropping off. Took another short ride up Fitzpatrick and Middle Road and back via SR 14. Started off in a spitting rain that wasn't unpleasant as it was a quite warm. Stood up on the bottom section and had a good start but bogged down over the bridge section, When it came time to stand again I wasn't able too and had to spin. Did better on the final third and crested with a decent time. Had a following crosswind through the rollers on Middle Road and had lots of snap in the legs today. Made it to Horseheads in good shape but then turned back into the rather aggressive headwind. Fought the wind for awhile and thought I'd try for an eighteen but just didn't have it in me and spun the last couple of miles when the math no longer worked. Had a strong ride with no upper chest issues.
