 Round the Lake II
Wind was going to be scarce today, so it looked like a good day to ride around Seneca Lake. Planned on a long slow ride and that is pretty much how it went. Started off with a ten minute wait due to paving on the first hill out of Watkins. I think the climb went well but was too busy dodging traffic and traffic cones to pay much attention. Had a good section to Glenora with a light wind then got bogged down going through the still unpaved section between Starkey and Himrod. Most of the ride was pleasant and uneventful and my heart rate remained low throughout the eighty plus miles of riding. Felt good on the climb to Lodi and out the climb out of Valois that are two areas I usually struggle. Legs felt good throughout and even after the ride. Good day on the bike though it was disappointing riding so far on a beautiful day and seeing no other riders.
